Ok. I have been asked how it was decided who plays who twice in div one and who only plays each other once. Brace yourselves. It’s complicated.
Teams are ordered/seeded 1-10 from 2019 finishing positions. Seeds 1 to 7 are the teams that finished respectively 1st to 7th in Div 1 2019. Seeds 8 to 10 are respectively 1st in Div 2 2019, 2nd in Div 2 2019, 3rd in Div 2 2019.
It is reasonable (historically) to rank the promoted teams 8,9,10

· Team 1 is allocated 1 ranking point…Team 10 is allocated 10 ranking points

· The teams are divided into 5 pairs: (1,2), (3,4), (5,6), (7,8), (9,10)
Each team plays twice against the team in its pair, twice against one team from each of the other pairs, once against the other team in each of the other pairs. Total 14 matches
Matches are generated so that the aggregate number of ranking points of teams played twice is the same for each team (or as close as it can be – either 27 or 28)
