1) THE POOR: Buddhism teaches that nothing just happens. A series of causes and conditions leads up to it. Now the rich blame the poor for their own poverty. In fact, this is sleight-of-hand the rich deal from a stacked deck of marked cards. Here's why⬇
2) The rich say, "The poor make bad financial decisions!" Is that so? But WHO made the "bad financial decisions" that caused the 2009 Economic Crash? Is it not the rich who made those decisions for which the poor paid the price? Should not the rich have paid for that? And⬇
3) The rich say, "The poor don't save their money! They spend unwisely!" But WHO teaches consumerism as a sacrosanct mantra? WHO whines that "low consumer spending" is "hurting the economy" as if the economy is some poor widdle helpless sentient being? About that⬇
4) The rich present the economy as if it is something besides an illusion they themselves have created to hold us all in thrall to it. In fact, it is a construct of greed, avaricious behavior, selfishness, and oppression. Thinking we owe it anything is a serious mistake. Also⬇
5) The rich are the only ones who can "hurt" the economy because it is their decisions that affect it. Again, they created it. They make the decisions that run it. And, again, it is their own greed that creates economic problems that, in turn, create poverty. Therefore⬇
6) The poor cannot be blamed for suffering from the deeply wrong actions of the rich. The rich stubbornly refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes, which is also something the rich continually accuse the poor of. Finally, fuck the rich. That is all.
