2017, the polls a week before the election. And this is AFTER they fixed the modelling. Johnson is still less popular than May at this stage, Corbyn is surging again but slower, and I have as much faith in a 68-seat Tory majority as I do of the sun coming up in the west.
And judging by his wish to get every Leave voter ringing their mates, and offering them a party in No10 in return, Cummings isn't too optimistic either.
I have never seen a PM, in my lifetime or 25 years of journalism, heckled in Downing St.

And definitely not on Day 1.
I have seen plenty of PMs bollocked when they meet flood victims. But never one bollocked by every single person they met, even in a safe Opposition seat.
I have never seen a PM whose hospital visits produce blanket refusals from staff to meet them. There's always one or two who'll complain - but for them ALL to do it is astonishing. And the fact some are shaking with anger is also new.
And I have never seen a Tory leadership hopeful, during a successful campaign, in a safe Tory seat, get bollocked in the local garden centre.
Voters do not like or trust Jeremy Corbyn. But the level of seething fury that greets Johnson every time he sets foot outside his front door is not only new, it's not reflected in the polls.
If they're hoping for people hating Corbyn more than him, I'm not sure that's in the bank. If they're hoping Labour Leavers will go for him in huge numbers, that tastes a little off as well.
This isn't wishful thinking, I hope. But when both sides are leaving the names of their wannabe PM off the local campaign material, it tells you even THEY think their leaders are equally toxic. In that scenario, a 68-seat majority is not on the cards for either of them.
Thread ends. This just all smells a little like bollocks to me; still, we'll find out, won't we. I might have to eat my words. But I wouldn't bet the mortgage on the Tory win we're being predicted.
