I'm sick of waking up every day, seeing threads of horror from Britain's Jews as they discuss the latest blue tick wonder to post "yeah but you ain't dying are you? So I'll vote labour"

I'm sick of logging on a seeing the discussions of the latest whataboutery from people who've always voted labour and desperatly want to again without feeling guilty

I'm sick of days full of seeing Jews cries of anguish being ignored by people claiming to be anti-racist/progressive etc!

What more do you want Britain's Jews to do to get through to your thick skulls that you shouldn't vote labour?

They've been calling out labours antisemitism with growing alarm for years. YEARS!
Many have tried dealing with it quietly in the party. The party did nothing
They've gone to the papers, where the party did nothing except in the most high profile cases

They've gone to their MPs, and some of them attended a demo, or wrote a few strongly worded tweets. But then made absolutly clear they'd still prefer Corbyn as PM to Boris

What more do you want them to do?

There have been countless newspaper articles exposing antisemites, columns of people bearing their souls, their deepest fears, blogs so painful to read you'd need a heart of stone not to cry reading them.

Some British Jews I used to follow have quit social media. Many take regular breaks from the abuse.
Some have even left the country.

WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?

There have been demo's, protests, advertising campaigns, guerrilla marketing, publicity stunts, serious research, serious events, funny videos, memes of both the laughing out loud and the serious variety.

WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?

There was the unprecedented united front page of 3 Jewish papers, there was the JCs front page pretty much begging us not to vote labour!

Every possible method of communication has been tried.

WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?

The Chief Rabbi himself, having obviously seen all this, seen it's not being taken seriously enough, took the unprecedented step of making an "intervention" in the election campaign. One that was backed by other religious leaders and faith groups.

WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?

What exactly more do you want British Jews to do before you say "Enough is enough" And refuse to vote for an institutionally antisemitic party?

You want them to beg outside the polling booths? Because short of that they've tried literally everything!

Why have their pleas fallen on deaf ears?
Why have their cries fallen on cold hearts?
Why have people rationalised away their pain with "but the tories are worse"?

WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?

Do you want more to leave?
Do you want beatings? Windows smashed? Deaths?

WHAT ON EARTH IS IT GOING TO TAKE FOR YOU TO SHOW SOME BASIC HUMAN DECENCY?

I have bloody had it with seeing this pain over and over again every day minimised and rationalised away, and for what? State Broadband? Sheeesh you haven't even demanded a high price for your rotten souls!

Britain's Jews have done everything the could be expected to do and more!

It is the rest of us who need to step up! Whatever it takes.

So if you aren't Jewish but you are horrified by antisemitism and the thought of an antisemitic PM I implore you:

Do a little more!

I've seen so many of Britain's Jews the last few days who are at the end of their tether, they can't take much more of this. They are so few. And they need help.

There are 2 weeks left to stop an antisemite becomming PM. Just 2!
And Britain's Jews cannot stop him alone. They need the help of all decent people to do it!

So I ask: Can you do a little more?

If you are horrified by whats going on but normally quiet because you don't know how to speak up, try! Just try, yes it will be hard. But it will be appreciated.

And you'll find great people willing to help and support you.

I will freely admit I'm just not a people person. I don't like doing emotional stuff in public, I don't like being around more than a few people at a time, I don't like talking with people I don't know well, I don't like doing political stuff in public

I am though trying to get as far out of my comfort zone as possible.
Because I need to.
Because the comfortable me would just sit, tut, gripe about how bad it is, and do nothing.

And that doesn't help. And British Jews need our help. Whatever it takes

Our Jewish citizens shouldn't have to beg for our help. For us to listen to them.

So please, I'm begging you! I'm crying my bloody eyes out here at what I've seen this morning! And I'm a bloke who hates admitting that! Please, just listen to Britain's Jews! And do a little more to aid them!

Give everything you can the next 2 weeks. Hold nothing back, leave your comfort zone, push yourself just a little further.

If we all do this we can help stop an antisemite being elected PM, we can make this country a better place, for us, and for future generations.

Lets do it!
