Y’all compare black & white men like they started at the same level out of the womb.

The black man has disadvantages. The white man has privilege. How are they gonna be at the same level in a country that puts the prior on a pedestal & the latter in a ditch?

Does this give brothas an excuse to slack and eventually give up on their efforts? Definitely not.

But what y’all never realize is that they’re trying. They’re going to college. They’re going to trade school. They’re working 2 & 3 jobs. They’re being more involved as fathers...

They’re going on job interviews for positions that they QUALIFY for but the inexperience white man lands the job instead.

They’re seeing white men commit violent crimes (including murder) & walking free but they’re (black men) getting arrested & jailed for misdemeanors.

How do you expect a black man to do the exact same thing as white men do as if they’re given the same opportunities?

This is the white man’s kingdom. This is the black man’s hell.

And despite it all, they’re still trying. They still remain strong. They’re still fighting.

They fight out in the world & then gotta come home and fight with you. Or they get off work, log on Twitter & see “Niggas ain’t shit.” “Black men are trash.” “Black men are worthless.” “White men are better than black men.” Every. Damn. Day.

When does it end?

When will y’all realize that what some black men do isn’t all of their fault? When will y’all realize that just because some black men are idiots, that doesn’t mean that all of them are? When will y’all realize that majority of black men shouldn’t pay for what the minority does?

And yes, call me a pick me. Call me dumb. A hotep. Call me whatever tf you’d like. Idgaf.

At the end of the mf day, white men & black men come from two opposite ends of the spectrum.
