We hope our American friends are experiencing safe, smooth travels and good times with family and/or friends. We want to leave you all with a few reminders (thread) this Thanksgiving:

1. If you do not feel accepted by your family and/or going home is stressful and hard: you are important, you are valued, and you are wonderful. Please do not ever forget that.

2. The holiday of Thanksgiving is very whitewashed, and we must remember its origins were not the peaceful dinner of most textbooks, but one small part of a history of Native genocide by Europeans.
