I absolutely
the #serverless community - but I do think we could learn something from the #kubernetes community. Feels like we're all running the race together, and humbled when I see folks contributing and adding to projects like @kedaorg from all walks of life.

Even though tools and products differ, the conversation in the community isn't around "mine is better" but "how can we help" and "let's work together on this"
I think #serverless is still burdened by the strong vendor angle to offerings - and the fact that many of the features are unique to a single vendor. Will take time, but want to do what I can to help drive more of that deep community across industries

Even within the #Kubernetes world, stuff like the @CloudNativeFdn serverless wg had a really nice feel. Loved the notion of a "practitioners summit" to share how the field is moving forward and sharing with each other. Helped too that @duginabox puts impressive effort in

For a great example of this community you should watch @kelseyhightower *incredible* keynote at #kubecon (also where I got the race analogy at top). Not just talk - I felt this too attending my first #kubecon last week
