1) There is indeed an anti-Semitic trope that Jews have a hidden agenda. The trope is used to denigrate Jews, just like whites use black stereotypes to denigrate black people. It can be used in all kinds of ways, from subtle to not-so-subtle.

2) It is wrong and the vast majority of the left avoid such tropes. Of course, in all corners of this sick world you'll find racist nutters peddling such tropes.
3) I can't see anything from Holly which has any intent to plant the idea that Jews have a hidden agenda. It's overwhelmingly obvious that the Rabbi has no moral compass & is a threat to the chances of the population of this country getting a fairer society & a gov't for the many
4) The Rabbi's hidden agenda (it's hardly hidden because his agenda is so obvious, he is weaponising Anti-Semitism for political purposes & being very disingenuous) isn't because he's Jewish, it's because of his ethics (or lack thereof).
5) Rigby has merely highlighted the same points highlighted by Michael Rosen & Miriam Morgolyes (not even controversial — i.e. his relationship with Netanyahu & his long-standing friendship with Tories).
6) Other agendas and big motives for the Rabbi's smear campaign include the fact that Jeremy Corbyn wants to stop selling weapons to Israel & Saudi Arabia.

7) Holly's right, we cannot omit this vital context. It is the most basic ethics to challenge things which have dangerous consequences for society & examine the salient aspects of their background.
8) Therefore, the ones smearing Holly Rigby and deliberately trying to skew her comment towards the notion of 'jews having a hidden agenda'....aren't they the ones with a questionable mindset? The ones pushing & perpetuating the tropes?
9) Exposing hidden agendas is an important part of politics. Anyone can have them, from politicians to journalists to religious leaders. But if we promote the ludicrous, insulting idea that if someone is Jewish then they cannot have a hidden agenda, then we're done for!
