Similar to the way Dems treat Greens, labor has gotten the “vote for us, the least bad” line for decades. It’s what prevents real labor law reforms, and it’s time to stop accepting it.
In a bittersweet way, I think the naked betrayal of labor by Obama and Biden really opened a lotta eyes about how little “progressives” respected the union member votes they were getting.
Libs have been whining about losing working class whites since Reagan —maybe offering tangible workplace policy differences rather than the absence of bad would make a difference.
