1. SEX is a protected characteristic in law and is defined as biological. Gender is not defined in UK law and is not a protected characteristic. The EA2010 gives female people the right to spaces *on the basis of biological sex.* It explicitly gives female people the right to exclude people whose legal - but not biological - sex is female, in certain situations, 'proportionate to a legitimate aim.'

Are you claiming that your party is not committed to upholding those rights as given in law, and is, in fact, committed to undermining them?

2. Your party explicitly underlined its commitment to the single SEX exemptions in the manifesto. That pledge has since been re-iterated

by Laura Pidcock and Ann Henderson. Are you claiming that the manifesto and the women who have underlined that commitment were actually misleading women about the party's position?

3. Further, are you implying that, by including this pledge in the manifesto and underlining it

the party is intending to deliberately mislead women, and then to trick them by doing what you suggest here, which, I stress, would *amount to abolishing female people as a meaningful political class*?

4. How do you think that is going to play with the many many women who

have already said they won't vote Labour until the party clearly upholds their rights? You do realise that women are HALF the population don't you? You do realise that outside your little wokebubble a lot of women in the country are really really pissed off about this?

Do you REALLY think briefing in a way that makes it look like your party is deliberately trying to deceive them is a supergreat vote-winning idea?

5. You do realise that in a single tweet you have demonstrated *exactly* why women consider the trans rights movement to be a threat

to our existing legal rights. You can shout bigot and transphobe and hatespeech as much as you like. What you have done here is exemplified that the part of the party that is captured by trans ideology is entirely committed to removing female people's rights to ANY spaces at all

as given in law. And that you are, furthermore, committed to trying to collapse our existence as a sex class into a 'gender' class, which includes male and female people. That is, to repeat, YOU ARE COMMITTED TO THE ERASURE OF FEMALE PEOPLE AS A POLITICAL CLASS.

You think that the MANY MANY thousands of people watching this conflict play out now can't clearly see that female ppl have a legitimate right to object to being erased as a political class and having their legal rights removed.
