Watching the all-22 Ravens offense. Its like watching Auburns offense with a super hero at QB. I thought Patriots game was a good place to start. Pats are coached up extremely well...obviously lol.. and for the most part held Lamar Jackson in check.. as well as you can lol
For the game Jackson had to 61 yards on 16 carries. I think most teams could live with that. His longest run was 18 yards.. so outside of that carry he averaged less than 3 yards per carry. Jackson had 163 passing yards.. that too you can live with.
I was wondering patriots did to keep Jackson in the pocket.. 2x's early on I noticed this stunt. and look right behind the line.. 31 spying Jackson.. closing the space as soon as Jackson started to move
Here goes that stunt again.. not sure if that was something they specifically wanted to do to keep Jackson in the pocket.. 31 still spying Jackson and McCourty looking like he's playing robber
This was Jacksons longest carry of the game. Like I said to start the thread, outside of this carry he averaged 2.8 yards per carry. I'd think you'd want 93 to crash down and the LB play Jackson in space. 93 hesitates and gets stacked behind the LB.. not good
This is good.. LB doesn't crash down... McCourty is right there too reading.. If Jackson keeps it Pats have numbers. He gave it.. Rams got gashed this over and over.. Hell Pats got gashed a bit too. Ingram averaged almost 8 yards a carry.. with a 53 yard carry
I don't know who 55 is but this is an athletic ass play. Doesn't crash down and from a stand still doesn't let Jackson get around the corner. Takes away the cut back and holds him to a 5 yard gain.. he must've felt like he was on an island alone lol.. great play
