Oklahoma 1) averages more points and yards per play than Baker Mayfield's senior year and just shy of last year with Kyler Murray and 2) is 8 points and a full yard per play better on D than last season...but somehow feel less impressive than 2017/18 (as reflected in CFBP rank)?
Oklahoma is still a half yard per play ahead of the next closest team, LSU, on offense. Not saying they are actually better, it's just interesting how the "feel" around the team seems different though the numbers are very similar and in some cases better
Oklahoma's biggest issue seems to be they are 116th in turnover margin at -7. open to interpretation how much of that is skill/talent versus luck.

in particular, they are -7 in TO margin just over the last 4 weeks, when they have played all these close games
