Book jackets are a burden that I have never asked for. I just want a book, I do not need book accessories

I have to take the book jacket off to read the book because it moves around and distracts me. But I feel guilty about throwing out the book jacket because it looks nice! Someone put time and effort into designing it, I can’t just throw it out!

Truthfully, I just want paperback books. They’re more pleasant to hold, they take up less space, and are generally just all around better. But they never come out when the hardcover books do and I can’t wait for that!
