. @lmphbutlerperks just reminded me that we graduated exactly 2yrs ago! I was replying to student emails during my graduation ceremony, since then have had 3 jobs & moves w/the 4th one next week. @mwolfindale looks happier than me in this pic! Precarity nearly beat me. #academia
Post PhD I toured the country for 2 academic yrs getting rejected after over 20 interviews for jobs including the permanent versions of ones I was doing on fixed term contracts at 2 seperate institutions before finally being offered my current permanent job! Still traumatised
