When I first endorsed Elizabeth Warren it was because if her plan for a new farm economy. Shortly afterwards, a group of Black farmers published a critique of what was missing. I let my own blind-spots obscure my analysis. https://twitter.com/ewarren/status/1199359479956951041
And hoped @ewarren was listening better than I had. This is the right track, and what 'accountability not perfection' looks like in action, and translated to policy. This is why I trust her to do right by all the American people.
Not because she's already smarter than everyone, but because where there's a gap in her knowledge or experience she goes to those impacted to ask what they need. That's leadership. That's accountability.
With deep gratitude (again, always) to @BlackWomxnFor for remaining in loving community and conversation, and for highlighting this ongoing work.
