So first of all Cohn and Miller are talking about a sample that a sample that looks exactly like Trump's base -- white, male, and not college educated -- and not as much like the electorate overall. (They deceptively hid that fact by opening the piece with a woman.)

Then they communicate a cavalcade of ignorant bullshit takes from people who don't know how the economy works, and allow them to misrepresent Trump's track record in office, without so much as a "to be sure" correction.

They just reify the bullshit narrative the Times and other major media have been in the first place: Sure Trump is a mean guy, but he's effective.

Nothing about his concentration camps. Nothing about the crimes he's being impeached for. Nothing about his reckless mismanagement.
