Playing Mitch with a floor spacing 4 is important. By doing so, you pull opponents weak-side shot blockers out of the paint which gives Mitch space to dive more/or less unhindered. It also allows you to use wedge screens and staggers--2 of Fiz' favorite sets--more effectively
From last season. Notice how the threat of Mitch diving keeps Embiid at home, and the threat of Kornet popping keeps his man at home. This springs DOT for the open shot.
In this cool set from last season, the threat of Mitch diving drew an extra defender--springing Kornet for a wide open 3.

Clever use of PnR as a decoy action here too
Here the Knicks showed a wedge screen, but used a screen the screener action to get Knox an open look. Knox misses Kornet twice... but it's a cool and effective action
Last season Boston used Morris as a stretch 4, and often ran staggers and wedge screens. He was great! He's a good screener, and an excellent CAS guy. I thought we signed him and Portis to fill the role that Kornet filled last year--and in Morris' case--perhaps more comptently
competently*

But... we've only seen the Mitch/Morris 5/4 combo for 45 minutes this season, and Mitch/Portis for 69 minutes.

Not really an ideal way to maximize your young center.
Correction! Morris/Mitch have only played 31 minutes together at the 4 and 5. Stats from PBP stats (check them out if you haven't... lots of useful stuff over there).
