So I keep seeing Mr. Rogers coming up today and I had to look up why people were talking about him, just to find out that some "journalists" are claiming that he "raised a generation of pussies" so follow me on this trip.

Mr. Rogers made a show that dealt with real life problems, no cartoons and no jokes. In the 60s during a time of REAL racial tension, he shared a pool with a black man.

He stood in front of a congress ready to pull funding for the PBS, and effectively end children's programming. His testimony saved that.

And here's the big one. After 9/11 PBS asked him to shoot a short clip telling people how they can help their children with what's going on.

This man has been there to teach people that your emotions, especially anger, are ok to have but it's how you respond and act on them.
