Building on the momentum generated from our November 14 press conference, Special Liaison for Homelessness @cmckenney will bring forward a notice of motion to city council in December to declare a state of emergency concerning homelessness in Ottawa.

With almost 8,000 people in shelters each night, we’ve gone past the point of this being a crisis.

Please let your city councillor, MPP and MP know that you want all levels of government to work together now to provide practical, accessible and timely solutions to meet the needs
