On another topic: just saw someone complains that Kate's tattoos are erasing her Jewishness mostly because "it's too close to her wrist" and I am really disappointed in how much that idea misses the point on so many levels even if we take out the fact THAT'S IT ISN'T CLOSE AT ALL

I can get into what the Jewish religion thinks of tatoos but that's not what this is about: the idea that someone is less Jewish because they have tattoos is just sickening. This is just as bad of gatekeeping AS ANY OTHER FORM OF GATEKEEPING IN JUDAISM AND THAT'S ALWAYS BAD

TLDR: fuck gatekeeping in Judaism and don't look for stuff to get mad at!!!!
