Few observations.

1. My dream of MH being first truly saffron state (only two parties, both saffron) is over for good. No longer possible now - given demographics change in coming decade. MIM will grow. Congresses get life line and it will be same as usual.

2. Most importantly, it essential for all Hindutva folks all over to understand this and get it straight - RSS (and affiliates) is the most saffron you can get in given system and sociopolitical constraints it has.

There cannot be a serious “more saffron” alternative to Sangh

Like it or hate it - sangh affiliates (with all their quirks and perceived or real shortcomings) is the best you are going to have as long as democracy and this republic exists

Many of us (me included) wished Sena to evolve into a pan Indian Hindu Mahasabha as an more purer alternative to BJP over the period of time. Not happening. And no one else can do it with enough financial resources and serious cadre.

So earlier one makes peace with this, better
