#BitsAndPieces
This is a thread of photos I made over the years. I will add a little bit of context to some but it's just organized randoms.

Football : The King of Sport

AFCON 2019 : Nigerian Fans at The Alexandria Stadium, Egypt during AFCON 2019.

Monochrome : When I started photography, I shot only in Black and White for a long time. It helped trained my eyes to understand forms and shapes. I rarely shoot black and white these days, but those lessons learnt are priceless.

Composition: colors, patterns and repetitions are some of my favorite elements in a photo. It's always visually appealing because even when something appears to be chaotic, recognizing the reoccurring patterns changes it entirely.

Framing: Same object, 3 different framings to produce 3 different results.
As someone once advised me, soemtimes all you need do is change your position to get a better shot.
Agbalumo ; popularly called Cherry (not sure of the spelling) in the South. Tastes better when it slaps the mouth, literally.
This should also be om this Thread.

And this panorama shot.
I experiment with Panorama alot last year. I always love photographs of big spaces with little people and panorama makes it easier to capture. https://twitter.com/bekexjj/status/1205903879369572352?s=19

This is a separate thread of photoessays, videos and documentaries on photography and shortfilms.

I will add to it all year round using the hashtag #MovingAndStills . https://twitter.com/bekexjj/status/1094700973677785090?s=19
I am doing this for people interested in photography and film especially documentary photography.
It will include tips, tutorials, projects I find interesting, works of photographers I admire, books, articles and essays.
By December, I hope to have compiled a digital library.

It's often said that one important element of photography aside knowing what to photograph is knowing what to leave out. Here is a perfect example. Same building, 2 different frames producing 2 different photographs.

I love to photograph sunsets & Sunrises. But to get the perfect picture, you have to wait for the right moment & take multiple shots, kinda like a metaphor for life.

📸 Same scene, same camera settings, same composition, few minutes apart, two different photos.

A little dose of Vitamin Sea.

PS: Blue wasn't one of my favorite color when I started photography even though I loved the sky and the sea, but few years ago, I noticed a reoccurring shade of blue in my photos, guess it's one perk of being a seafarer.
