I'm guessing that we're entering a new phase in the 'Labour institutional racism' talking point, which will possibly make more sense to voters who have been sceptical so far.

The attack line was signaled by Robert Peston, who seems closely plumbed in to team Johnson/Cummings
Here's how it will be pitched.

'If the accusations are so unjust, Labour can only have been unable to prevent this stain on its reputation due to incompetence. Therefore Labour cannot be expected to be able to deliver the social & economic reforms it promises.'
'You don't have to believe that Jeremy Corbyn is antisemitic'.

'You don't have to believe that she asked for it, but why didn't she fight him off more effectively?'

Thanks for that, Robert.
'If George Soros is really a good guy why do so many people believe he is a bad guy. He must be TOTALLY INCOMPETENT when it comes to defending himself.'

See how blaming the target of the bile works?
