I've been taking a closer look at the Conservative, Labour and Lib Dem manifestos. A few examples of some manifesto commitments that are unlikely to get much coverage.

Only the Lib Dems are proposing to reform the criminal records disclosure system.
Only Labour is proposing to bring probation back under public control, and to restore professional standards.
Until a couple of months ago, reform of short prison sentences was government policy. The Conservatives have since dropped it. Labour and the Lib Dems both have short sentence reform in their manifestos.
The Lib Dems are the only party committing to scrapping Police and Crime Commissioners.
Only Labour are proposing to bring private prisons back under public ownership and to prevent the establishment of new private prisons.
The Conservatives are proposing a dramatic prison expansion programme. The Labour and Lib Dem manifestos are broadly neutral, or potentially reductionist, in relation to prison capacity.
The Conservatives are proposing a Royal Commission on the criminal justice process
Labour is proposing a Royal Commission on approaches to drugs decriminalisation.
