A werewolf is attacking? What if it was a gorilla with a grudge; still just as scary but an actual animal that exists

Ghosts? You just found out an afterlife 100% exists, which is actually quite comforting

Vampires? Immortality is a pretty good trade off for not having to wake up before 6pm

Aliens? I bet they can fix teeth real cheap, and you can ask them if they believe in ghosts

Zombie Apocalypse? The Russians will be too busy to tell everyone what kind of porn you've been watching
