The last time I mentioned a lack of people of color at Imagineering, Disney got mad and took my media access away.

So I’m back with another project without POC (Tron @ wdw)🤷🏽‍♂️
Quick review in case you weren’t here last time:

• Yes. I know about Floyd Norman.
• Just like changing out the red head on Pirates, this is about something bigger than you, #DisTwitter (mostly white men).
• This isn’t an economical issue (i.e black prople are poor, and don’t go to Disney because they are poor). I’ve seen plenty of people of color vacationing at Disney.
• Black kids need/deserve role models in Imagineering.
• Kids seek out role models who look like them
• Many kids of color watching the Imagineering doc on Disney+ could easily think that this job isn’t for people of color. It’s all white people in the documentary.
• This topic scares you because you’ve never seen it as an issue because all of these people look like you.
• I’m not trying to make you feel guilty for being white. I’m holding Disney accountable for not being inclusive.
• You don’t have to make excuses for Disney, unless your Twitter handle is @RobertIger
Going to bed, but blue checkmarks are starting to retweet/like. So in case this blows up overnight, I’ll plug @fairfightaction. Voter discrimination and disenfranchisement will play a big part in 2020. Send them $5 to fight back. https://fairfight.com
