I don't know how popular this will be but here goes..I feel Finn should have been the hero of the movies..Trained by Luke..properly, leading a large number of Stormtroopers against the First Order, freeing them, cut out Rey & Kylo..make Kylo the grandson of Palpatine instead

As having it turn out that Finn discovers his grandfather to be Mace Windu, perhaps discovering that fact from Obi Wan..Kylo following the footsteps of the Emperor, while Finn trains to defeat a new threat..Finn defeats Kylo in the end..bringing peace to the Galaxy

While honoring & bringing justice for Mace's death..in that way Anakin's sacrifice is secure, and Finn in his own way brings balance to the Force as a true Jedi..as personally I liked Finn..they screwed him over in TLJ, make Rose a brave & sexy Resistance pilot instead

And give Finn & Rose a romantic angle that builds over the course of the 3 movies..cut out Poe & rework TLJ into a heist/war movie like Rogue one was..though have Finn survive, perhaps Rose die & Finn carries on out of love while failing close to the dark side

Out of Vengeance for Rose's death.. her bravely dying to protect Finn, turn the whole canto bight thing into a prison break where Finn & Rose had to escape from a First Order base..cut out Snoke entirely, Finn leads the remaining rebels to safety, while the real Luke

Battles Kylo so Finn & the others escape with the help of Chewie & Lando(who comes out of retirement for his old friends, Han still dies..but in a blaze of glory instead, perhaps saving Leia, who he never left), Luke is struck down as a true Jedi, though he

Injures Kylo badly in doing so..Luke dies a noble death while protecting the Rebels one last time..and Finn vows to continue his training for the sake of Luke & for the love of Rose (who would be far more likeable)

Oh as for Han..in my canon.. he would have gone out in a blaze of glory..his blaster in one hand, detonator in the other..firing at Stormtroopers & Kylo..until he took too many blaster hits..then blown that place to pieces..getting Kylo caught the blast(burnt)..

That's how Han Solo the best damn smuggler in the Galaxy should have gone out..not the way he did..Han deserved better then what he got..
