#YangGang thread:
How to canvass in a Deep Red location 101 ( @YangVets can quote and correct if necessary):

Carry a sign that says the following

"Want to give back to our Veterans, LEO's, and First Responders? Ask me how."

Continued...
This will attract those that say they support our thin line groups. For those unfamiliar with the thin line groups, refer to this image.
Once they start asking about how to go about this, give them the facts about our homeless veterans, PTSD, suicide, Thin Line spouses, families, and the community as a whole, etc.
This next part is important: Get real with them. No bs. No scripts. Straight to the point. Our first responders, veterans, law enforcement, etc. are being fucked, and no one is doing shit to change that.
A "Thank you for your service," is good and all, but words lose their value. People say this to make themselves look good nowadays. There's no real action behind these words anymore. Talk's cheap, and they outta know it.
Bonus points if a little dark humor is sprinkled in the mix (I CANNOT stress this enough: don't overdo it, but the darker the better. Be offensive. Be extremely controversial. Be politically incorrect. I'm as serious as AIDs in the 70s.)
Those that have been a hardened veteran, officer, or a first responder will relate to this all too well. They've been around gruesome shit that would make you piss your pants and love it, and research shows that dark humor is considered a coping mechanism for those with PTSD.
Once you peak their interest, don't start with the UBI (save this for last) Instead, introduce them to the Veteran under a Roof Initiative, Civilian Bootcamp to ease combat vets back to civilization, Mental health counseling, body cameras to C.Y.A. (Cover your ass), etc.
Once they say they're all in and the deal is sealed, then you introduce @AndrewYang and his UBI.

Get these guys in the picture, you have a really good shot at bridging a gap even moreso. Good luck.
