Y'all... please think long-term about your content and business and strategies.

All of these major platforms will eventually shift to limiting your reach and making you pay to get in front of your audience.

This is why I'm always pushing y'all to publish your content on your
own websites!

Train your audience to find the good shit on your website and email list.

OWN YOUR DATA! OWN YOUR LIST!

These platforms are paying you pennies (if anything) for *invaluable* data & users.

Think about it.

Outside of them being able to shut you down for any,
or no reason at all, you're pushing traffic to them instead of your own shit.

That's crazy!

Use these platforms to intrigue, satisfy on YOUR SHIT YOU OWN!
Does this mean stop using social media?

No. Don't be simple.

First, use social to be social and engage. I notice my reach and engagement increase when I'm actively engaging (not when I'm just posting content).

Second, keep your how and good shit off social.

Test content &
then expand and make it even better for your blog.

If you listened to me and put Google Analytics and your FB pixel on your website, you're in good shape.

Train people to open your emails. Train them to visit your blog/website.
I'm trying to tell y'all to become your own platform.

They will change their terms & rules to suit themselves at anyone's expenses.

Why build your business and strategy relying on someone else?

They all publish their content to their website and then use ads to convert that user into their own lead.

Why?
We found the lifetime value of a lead and customer increased when we paid to acquire that user (vs getting them organically).

Our reach was also way better (should be if you're paying for it).

Ads are the cheapest now they will probably ever be
It's no coincidence that a platform will limit your reach when you encourage a user to leave their platform (visit my blog) unless you're paying them for it.

I also think paid leads *tend* to be better because of how specific you can get with your demographics targeting
