1/ A thread #traumanotpd Before I log off for a bit, I wanted to say that I and others have been bleating on about the hideous + sometimes deadly treatment of many people (most of who are victims/ survivors of childhood trauma) labelled with the sticky label of ‘BPD’

3/ #TraumanotPD those harmed and neglected in the past and in the present by the label of ‘BPD’ and all that go with it support each other as best we can. I feel doom when a mate isn’t on here for a while or disappears completely..
4/ #TraumanotPD In the last week alone I have seen tweets from high up powerful people from conferences and last night and tonight asking questions about self harm. I see professionals dismissing the desperately devastating awfulness of human beings. ..
5/ #TraumanotPD My view is that the majority of healthcare professionals and others know about the hideousness that’s comes with the ‘BPD’ label but they stay silent. There are some wearers of the label and all that goes with it who find it helpful but...
6/ #TraumanotPD The labelling of human beings with ‘BPD’ is gaslighting and the stigma, abuse, harm, neglect that comes with the label can’t outweigh the people who find it helpful anymore. The creep of the label is spreading ..
7/ #TraumanotPD I don’t know what can be done to stop the awfulness of all of this. I could add more articles, research, stories but you’ve seen them all before. There will be more and more. My thoughts to all already harmed and lost Thanks for reading. I plod on. That is all.
