Paradigm shifts from living in a van for a little over a year

A thread
You can adapt to pretty much any situation, for better or worse

Use this ability for better
Having constant access to heavy dopamine hits in your apartment MAKE YOU A HOME BODY

Weed - video games - massive tv - snacks

You wont get the same hit from human interaction
You dont really NEED a washer and dryer

A trip to the laundromat can be pretty productive if done right ~1.5 hours

This will lower your basline rent pretty easily 100-400 a month i bet

I used to only live where id have -in unit-and wpuld always leave my shit in the dryer
Cold sleep is better sleep

Dreams are absurd the colder my head is (limit 10 degrees)

Rest of body warm
You only need to eat once per day (if not every other)
Apartments are the best place to park if van living

Originally thought strip malls/lots

No problems in a permit free apartment lot
Penny pinching doesnt work

But absolute minimalist lifestyle with high income can leave you with THOUSANDS in savings a month

My cost is 1k - 2k max a month

With 6k+ in income

Gives you ammo quickly to try different things
Its fine to be bored

Constant stimulation is how fatties and boring people are made
Establishing a baseline way of life that you can always fall back on makes risk taking very low risk

Lose everything?

Regroup at baseline and risk it all AGAIN
Being comfortable in discomfort is a super power in 2019
