If you think acquaintance rapists are less likely to be serial offenders than stranger rapists, and therefore less worthy of investigation, why do you presume that?

You may think that acquaintance rape is more difficult to successfully prosecute, and you may be right. But they are also THAT much easier to investigate. You know who the guy is! Why not make an effort?

How messed up is it that watching #unbelievable, I can envy Marie Adler. She was treated like shit by cops, family, friends, work, but her rapist targeted strangers and cops eventually got him.
