track 1 “Move On” and I AM ALREADY ABOUT TO CRY

he couldn’t stay dead he just HAD to come back to life for the express purpose of releasing an album and upsetting me

track 2 “Night of Santiago” is meh but the piano is really nice

these lyrics are so unusually dirty and I’m kind of here for it?

Also I’m skipping “Happens to the Heart” because I already heard that when it was released as a single and so far it’s still my fave from the new album

His voice sounds so innocent and nice in “Thanks for the Dance” and so much more musical than usual if that makes sense? it’s less like his usual talking and more like actual singing

this is definitely my next favourite. that chorus won me over.

so GOOD though. These last two tracks have been the best. The production is so sophisticated and extra.

definitely not my fave but the lyrics are as always amazing

“Puppets” makes me want to laugh and idk why

the instrumental makes it sound like it’s about to transition into EDM and it’s making it difficult for me to take the lyrics seriously

“The Hills” is making me bop highkey

Final track “Listen to the Hummingbird”

overall this album is great, 7/10

It’s too short and some instrumentals are kind of weak but Leonard is never ever weak with his lyrics and I think it just goes to show how important his production input was when he was alive.
