2/ You should apply if:

You wouldn& #39;t have any other opportunity to explore an idea risk-free.

There& #39;s a few writing courses out there that you either have to apply for, or pay for. If you& #39;ve never got onto one of those, or can& #39;t afford to pay then come say hi!

3/ You should apply if:

Yours is a voice we don& #39;t see represented on stage often enough, or even at all.

If you& #39;re struggling to see work by writers/makers like you, that reflect your experiences, then we want to give you the space to explore your story.

4/ You should apply if:

You& #39;re passionate about the possibilities of theatre.

I believe theatre should always be pushing boundaries. We should aim to be weirder, more exciting, more inclusive & definitely more innovative.

Tell me how you& #39;d like to shake things up.

5/ You should apply if:

Have an idea that you can& #39;t stop thinking about.

Sometimes all it takes is a deadline to get you started. If you& #39;ve got commitment issues and keep waiting for & #39;inspiration to strike& #39; apply! I& #39;ll teach you how you can nurture inspiration.

6/ You should apply if:

You& #39;ve written shorts but can& #39;t quite manage a full-length piece.

Whilst this course is aimed at beginners, transitioning from shorts to a full-length piece isn& #39;t just writing more text. It& #39;s about managing layers of storytelling. We& #39;ll tackle that.

7/ Passion & ideas have value. I can& #39;t guarantee you a commission, but I can promise you& #39;ll spend your time on the #newwritersprogramme reading, watching, analysing and writing as much theatre as possible!

8/ In short, if you& #39;ve been sitting on the fence, thinking you& #39;re not experienced enough, please apply!
