The other night before playing Tiff Song, Noah was talking about Score and our little corner of the venue screamed and clapped and he said u201cthatu2019s the most applause that film has ever gottenu201d or something and someone behind me was like u201cWE LOVE YOU FARLEY GORDONu201d and he laughed
Also at some point the other night some guy yelled u201cwe love you KING!u201d And Noah said u201cand I, youu201d
Sorry Iu2019m just suddenly remembering a bunch of banter and trying to write it down so I donu2019t forget
He made the audience sing happy birthday for his future father-in-law
He talked about his dad telling him about Jacob in the Bible and how it was the inspiration for the Jacobu2019s Dream song and referred to his dad as u201cStuartu201d and the entire thing made me choke bc he was saying he had only half-listened to the story and was bad at explaining it
He spent a good five minutes fumbling thru this story trying to explain it but couldnu2019t actually remember what it was about and I couldnu2019t stop laughing which set off a coughing fit and long story short Noah Reid almost literally killed me
I also couldnu2019t stop laughing when Cali asked him if heu2019d ever cover Truth Hurts because, much like when she asked Stuart about his process, a simple question apparently required a complex, layered, long-winded explanation and he truly is his fatheru2019s son and it was ADORABLE
ALSO Iu2019m pretty sure someone else mentioned this but the opener, Ivy, talked about how she and Noah have the same bday and how she was excited when she found that out bc she never had a birthday buddy before
And then Noah comes out later and is like u201cso Ivy and I share a birthdayu201d and someone was like u201cwe knowu201d and he was like u201cwait reallyu201d and I 100% thought at first he was bringing it up again to be funny but he just didnu2019t reALIZE SHEu2019D ALREADY TOLD THE STORY KSKDJDJSK
