Let’s talk billboards today. A lot of companies are investing heavyly in billboards but are u sending out the RIGHT message u want OR just splashing marketing cash?

Below I talk about some of the billboards on my way to work, beginning with this #BW piece.

They nailed it 🔥
The @AbsaUganda billboard, popping colors to shine from the noisy background & website for contact info. I’d say it’s an awareness based billboard BUT has a call to action (Apply...)

I’d add a no./ socials since we r pushing banking that doesn’t require us to go to head office
The @GasAbbarci billboard got almost everything right apart from the fact that it’s SO HARD to read the PXs of the product, the very reason the billboard is up. The artwork could have been done WAY better, the FONT too 🤷🏾‍♂️
Established brands don’t use billboards to sell, they use them to spread awareness. You can see this from all these 3 billboards along Ntinda road for @PepsiUganda & @centurybottling.

It’s simply “Catchy wording” & pic which @PepsiUganda hit with their phrase & MESSI 😍
This billboard has been up for sometime yet up to now & even when I was shopping for a cooker, I looked here & just laughed. No contact details, website or even address for a showroom. Just an electric cooker (which are being phased out for gas cookers) & that’s it. A BIG JOKE
I love @Xpress_Money but it’s time y’all chopped down this tree clearly doing a de-service to your billboard (and this is at close range). Ntinda road has most of its traffic on this lane in the morning & opposite lane at night so you still won’t reap much from the opposite face
Enter @BiplousUg Furniture and you’ll find just 1 chair worth 10 million, yet company insists on using the most basic billboards of all to sell their brand 😂. Since 1983, I’d expect y’all billboards to look as solid & creative as the samples I’ve shared below 🤷🏾‍♂️
