Quick morning thought as I switch hats from design/community to day job: I think I would like to tweet at length ahout community and "leadership", with the caveat that these are informed musings and are in no way prescriptive. Maybe also some strategies I employ for myself...
... that enable me to keep doing what I do. Wondering if that will be helpful, especially since many of us with to engage with the community together and participate in the act of uplifting, but don't know how, and especially don't know when to stop before they start...
... hurting themselves. There are some hard realities that need to be outlined. I'm a queer woman in a cishet inadvertently white space doing community "leading" for a while - and now, I am a POC queer woman doing it in a wider circle.
At any rate, uuuh hit me up here on in dms if you think that what I can contribute will be helpful. The internet is always, for better or for worse, full of talk. I prefer not to add damage to discourse, even if my intent my be "good". (end)
