Hello everyone, as I promised few days ago, we are gonna have a lengthy thread! My advice, try to read all. Horse Racing is cumbersome, but patience, attention to details and desire to succeed would make you a better person in this HR business! Thanks to @_spiriituaL for all! https://twitter.com/samkenny365/status/1197526000009195520
This is more like a beginner's class on winning HR. One thing I got to learn about HR is that it made me a better reader. Though, not everyone enjoys reading. I would give you sites that you would read from to make your choice, also the one you won’t have to read epistles.
Tho their picks are awesome too! Major things to look out for in HR. DON’T JUST BET ON FAVOURITES. Some are traps! HR is so unpredictable as we saw the best horse with 19 straight wins lost yesterday. First time knowledge shows the favourite only comes 1st about 35% of the time.
Like @Shobayok1 would say, odds is just a number. 20 odds can win/place. All you need to find is VALUE; know your selections, do your research for your +/- as @_spiriituaL do say. The more research you do, the more better and confident you become.
Understanding horse racing terminology. Like C/D, means Course/Distance. F: Form J: Jockey, T: Trainer. I would share a link on this later.
Get to know your horses. Check their forms, class (especially in America races, when I see a horse dropped class in a race, I Stake on it Cos they usually come good; it’s like someone in University coming back to Secondary school, you’d expect him/her to have a better exposure).
Also their OR (overall ratings), when last they won or made top 3, how consistent they are. Any horse that you like, put them down so you can back them whenever they race. I have favorite horses, but the UK press can also overhype horses like they do for English players! Be wise!
KNOW THE SURFACES! Just as Nadal is the king of clay, & as Hazard won’t like playing on a wet grass especially in Stoke, that’s the way horses have their territory. Some are good on wet and muddy ground, some hard ground & so on. I once backed a good horse on a wet surface...
not knowing the horse is better on good ground; dry surface. The horse was even 2nd fav to win so I was licking my lips & rubbing my palms anticipating easy money, the horse jogged rather than run, and I watched my money binned!😩Did I learn my lesson, yes! Surfaces matter too.
Know the good trainers and jockeys. Sometimes when I see a good jockey, I don’t stress, I just jump on the horse Cos I expect the jockey to romp to victory, just like Mourinho won’t take a job to coach a club like Lyon, that’s how some Jockey won’t take horses that can’t win.
So the important part, SAFEST BET IN HR os predicting top 2/3/4/5 as to backing outright winners! I back winners Cos I’ve done my homework but it’s a forecast so can’t be perfect, but we just try. On Bet365, backing winner with the win and each way is a plus. 1xbet is fair for HR
Thanks for your time guys. Like I said, consistency is key. Also have a staking plan. Don’t go all out. Just be smart about it. It is fast boom and also fast doom! E get why!😁 Feel drew to ask any question, I’m still a novice too! But we can all make ourselves better! ❤️😍🏇🏾💰
