This would be my Timberwolves scouting report if I was going to play them:

1 - Give G-League guys, Teague, Graham, and Culver as many open 3s as possible early in the game. Let them take as many shots as they want. Take advantage of the fact they think it's a "good value shot"
2 - Try to get in an up and down pace game where G-League, Teague, Graham, Culver, and Okogie shoot as much as possible. Hope Towns takes ball in play often after made basket. So move big into lane so he's near ball.
3 - Frustrate KAT early by making him set picks often w/o getting looks from teammates. To do this press Culver, Teague & Wiggins so they ask for picks from KAT & force them to drive/shoot as much as possible. KAT will get frustrated & commit tacky Off fouls & press/reach on Def
4 - If managed to get KAT in foul trouble, he's out of the game & you can sink back into the paint & let Graham, Teague, Culver, etc shoot as many "high value shots" (3s) as they want. They will build you not only a brick house but an entire housing development of brick houses.
5 - play your best screener as your "big" so KAT guards him. Then have your best POA guy call for that guy to set picks. KAT will either have to switch or do his "fall back" & you have open shots for your PnR ballhandler. But you need your chosen big to be good screen setter.
6 - Let Ryan Saunders call as man PnRs with KAT and whoever as much as he wants the entire game. It's not a high value shot, you can sink into paint to help on drive from whoever is guarding Graham, Culver, or G-League guys. Also, Teague because won't shoot if open for 3.
7 - Wolves are WORST in the NBA in Transition and Spot ups. Why? Graham, Teague, Culver, Okogie, and G-League guys are shooting most of these shots.

Pushing the pace is smart, but always taking the shot by these guys is NOT smart for them. Encourage them to keep jacking shots.
You wouldn't know or think it... but Wolves are better on defense than they are on offense. Mostly because of the reasons I listed in this thread. They're "allowing" too many of their guys who CAN'T shoot, shoot, instead of playing through Towns to get Opponent to overplay on KAT
The big difference in wins for Wolves is getting KAT involved as a focal point of the offense. His number of touches and passes helps the other guys even if he's not shooting. KAT also doesn't get into foul trouble as he's less "edgy" by not touching the ball on offense.
A look at shot charts in the last game by the Wolves vs Phoenix. https://twitter.com/datafox21/status/1198654136679571456?s=20
As Steve points out...Teague has to be able to make this pass. AND if doesn't feel he can. He's got a 7' slow footed defender on him. He can EASILY gain an advantage with 1-2 dribbles to his left to make the passing angle work.

IF Teague feels he cannot make this pass. A quick pass to Wiggins to reset the defender's position towards ball allowing KAT to gain advantage desired and then quick pass back from Wiggins to Teague for pass entry w/ KAT now having an easier pin given Johnson's readjustment.
But Teague doesn't do that. He dribbles into a busy lane & THEN passes to Wiggins who fires up a contested 3P shot. If Wiggins was a fairly decent passer (& aware) he could hit Towns easily for the lob here. Again, KAT at 3-6 feet (or less) is better shot than Wiggins's 3P
And at 13 sec, still plenty of time to hit Teague for the re-positioned KAT, now that Johnson rotated with pass to Wiggins, for the shot from 3-6 ft by KAT against a very favorable matchup for him.
