Pro Wrestling is simultaneously the best and worst thing. There are equal parts great positive people and ALSO really toxic negativity.

We don’t ever have to agree on company preference or favorite wrestlers we enjoy.

We’ve come so far in terms of being inclusive and accepting. But here’s the thing:

There are way too many public figures and “fans” using their platforms to specifically target and harass those who are trying to make wrestling a better place.
When you are a public figure, whatever horrendous shit you spew will draw out awful likeminded people. People will defend a hive mindset that belongs in the garbage of the past.
We know these people will never go away. These people don’t deserve to have a voice because all they do is abuse it.

As a whole, we gotta do better.
Toxic fans are never ever owed entitlement or like they have any say over a wrestlers choices. They aren’t owed a part of anyone’s personal life.

Toxic figures aren’t owed gratitude or nostalgia.
I’m so tired of people defending sexist, racist, and horrible things said, defending horrible behavior.

It has been and NEVER will be okay in or outside of wrestling.
These negative fans/figures/podcasters aren’t owed a shred of respect. This group makes it SO difficult to bring positive content creators to the forefront.

If you don’t like something? There are thousands of options to go back to.
Shit like this makes it so difficult for positive content creators to shine at the forefront where they belong.

We constantly have to defend ourselves and our work when we shouldn’t have to. We belong here more than anything.
