The new Conservative manifesto has no target for affordable or social housing - only a loose commitment to a million homes of all tenures by 2020.

This would be a downgrading for the previous target of 300,000 a year and assume an average 41,000 below current building rates.

That should of course say 2025. 2020 is six weeks away.

Forgive me, I'm used to writing 'a million homes by 2020' because that's been the target since 2015. Nothing like pushing the boat out.
