I’ve been seeing a few post from specificity comic creators who found out their comics are being pirated at very high numbers. Like numbers high enough that they could make a living off the book so many ppl apparently like and could probably make more of. So I have a message-

IF YOU LIKE SOMETHING AND WANT TO SUPPORT IT: BUY IT.
If you like something and want to support it but can’t: DONT BUY IT UNTIL YOU CAN.
And most importantly
DONT PIRATE SHIT ESPECIALLY FROM SMALL CREATORS

I’ve seen this happen before with not cuz comics but even artist I love who have Patreon because one person will sign on for one month, pay the $5 and grab everything they can spread it around and then unsubscribe. This shit happens and it’s terrible. And you wonder why your-

Fav creator doesn’t make more stuff or is contemplating stopping all together this shit is why. Ppl want art and stories and feel as if they don’t have to compensate those creators for some nonsensical reason. Well stop it. If you have the cash slap it down but if not it’s ok.

There are other ways to support artist and creators you like when broke. Just shouting them out, retweet their stuff, word of mouth about them and more. Just don’t pirate their products because your doing more damage than you think.
