Thought I should make this thread my loc diary (?)
Day 1 - 26th November 2019
The process + results
Day 5
I'm watching YouTube videos and I am completely unprepared for what my locs may look like in a couple months....
I mean, I watched YouTube videos before but I guess it's just more real to me now. Hm.

Day 11
My hair is soo frizzyyy, I want to take the styling out but omo. I don't mind the frizz sha but that's what's happening on my head sha.
Temporary solution.
Lol I took the styling down and a lot of things are not quite right. *Pause* Hm.😂😂😂😂😂
Lol this is soo unpleasant, like, I want to hide 💀😂😂😂
I look absolutely mad💀
I can't even begin to explain what's happening on my head.
I'm going to the salon tomorrow, will post updates.
I'm still very excited about this, I just wish it was smoother.
So the retwist went well but my locs are swelling in the most random places and I'm not sure it's budding or just unravelling, it's maddd.
Man this thing isn't easy, the budding is insane and the stylist did something I'm not really a fan of and it's making the budding even more uneven. I'm tired and kind of confused as to how to style it.
I feel Ike I should have just started with two strand twists, this is too much for me.
Yeah so I crossed the one month mark last week, I wasn't particularly excited about it and that's why I didn't post about it, I've been wearing bandanas and scarves everyday.
Yo so my hair was acting mad and I also acted mad, I'll tell you guys what happened when I'm done being upset about it.
/feeling stupid*
So I washed my hair on my own for the first time since getting my locs installed and I am so happy with how it looks, I've been so frustrated with stylists so I'm probably going to be doing my hair myself from now on.
I've missed having complete control over the outcome of my hair, it's only been 2 months and I've had the anxiety of my life. First, I felt like my parts were too big and I didn't have enough locs and even though I was (still am) unsatisfied, I got used to the idea.
Then, the loctician did something I absolutely hated and am still having to correct to my hair so I stopped going to her.
Switched to a new person spontaneously, and though his technique was sound he used a weird-smelling concoction of God-knows-what to keep my hair in place, he also didn't seem to know the answers to the questions that I had and asked me not to wash my hair for 3 months.
Anyways, I'm 2 months loced now and I'm going to be doing my own hair because this is the happiest I've been in relation to my hair since this begun.
