The first time Power Girl sought Helena Bertinelli’s help, she did so during a time she was having a massive identity crisis (no, not THAT Identity Crisis). All she knew was that the Huntress was her best friend, and wanted to confide her problems to said best friend.

Unfortunately for Power Girl, she sought the wrong Huntress for emotional support, and naturally, Helena Bertinelli is confused as hell as to why Power Girl came to her specifically. Things don’t end well for Power Girl when she quickly learns this Huntress doesn’t like her much.

Of course, the Psycho Pirate cruelly shows Power Girl the Huntress who was her best friend: Helena Wayne. At best, he had the good sense NOT to tell her the post-Crisis DCU Gods decided her best friend would ‘reincarnate’ into the Huntress she encountered an issue earlier.
