(1) Crypto Twitter is an unmitigated disaster!!!

Thread incoming...
$BTC $BOLT
2. Who am I to say that so boldly?

From a CT perspective: nobody!
I have no followers to speak of and I’m fairly new to crypto. Clout score = 0.

From a real-life perspective: I’m an actuary in the corporate world. Actuary = I’m good at math and risk management.
3. As an outsider, it’s hard to take this space seriously. The juvenile level of social media clout-chasing and bickering is embarrassing.

Get your shit together, CT.
4. Stop speaking in absolutes. You don’t know where this market is headed at any given point. It’s possible for person X to go long, person Y to go short, and person Z to Tether up. It doesn’t mean anyone is an idiot or a scammer.
5. There are different strategies, different time preferences, and it’s ok to be wrong (provided you manage your risk).
6. Crypto Twitter is your opportunity to learn. Use it. Take what others have to offer and develop your own perspective.
7. Observe @scottmelker snipe longs with his trading stack while also keeping a long-term investment mindset, which is honestly a better path for most of you than day trading.
8. Listen to @CanteringClark as he shows you how to use funding rates and solid TA to enhance your understanding of the market structure.
9. Watch @TraderX0X0 short $BTC with precision. It will help you mitigate the common moon sentiment.
10. Keep an eye on @satoshiflipper as he evaluates coin fundamentals and makes investments.
11. Just stop. I know some of you are about to lose your minds over that list, but let me finish...

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FINANCIAL DECISIONS YOU MAKE. Repeat that 10X.
12. All of these people are fallible. You shouldn’t be copying trades. And honestly, some of the large accounts on CT need to do better and stop pretending they are always right. But in the end you have to stop blindly market buying and selling because of a twitter post.
13. Interact. Learn. Trade/Invest. Take responsibility. Be kind. Be humble. Remember: you can learn from people in this space that you do not agree with.
14. If the goal is to see crypto expand, we have to stop creating such a toxic culture. It’s an immediate turn off for new entrants.

Rant over. Good luck everybody.
