It's incredible the fraud here. The unlocked the clamps on the "Tesla" glass, so the pane could flex and not break.

Here's how it works. The place the clamps "down", but not locked, so the glass appears to be locking place but isn't. After each drop, Elon and the stage hands adjust"= the clamps

The need to do this since the clamps aren't locked down and bounce up when the glass flexes. It would be obvious on the close in shots that the clamps were up.

Don't believe me? Here's a still from around 7:17- the last drop. You can see the glass flexing up about 1-2 inches above the clamps, and almost all the clamps have been pushed back into the open position

I'd be embarrassed if I worked at a Seed-stage company that tried this kind of trickery on customers or funders.

Here's the frame right before. The ball has just hit the glass. See how some of the red clamps are blurred? That's because they are moving as the glass frame rises. The glass in the center is moving down and the glass on the edges is flexing up.

The glass flexes up to relieve the stress. If it were clamped down, the stress would build up and cause failure. But because the edges can move, the whole pane absorbs the energy and bounces.
