Aly’s guide to talking to Voice Actors:
1) Before you hit send on that email/tweet/DM, ask yourself these three questions:
Is what I’m about to say true?
Is it necessary?
Is it kind?
If it’s not all 3, DO NOT SAY IT / HIT SEND!

2) If the VA responds, especially with advice or a thoughtful reply, THANK THEM!
You’d be amazed how many folks reach out for advice, a professional favor, or for inside info on projects you work on. We don’t owe you a response, so if you get one, show you appreciate it!

3) We are not our characters. Thank you for respecting the fact that we are people doing a job (a job we love, but a job) and not conflating the two!
4) We are also not the creators nor the writers. If you don’t like something our character said or did, I can assure you that not only did we have nothing to do with it, but have absolutely no say in changing it!
5) We love doing what we do. And we love having fans so passionate about the properties we work on. Let’s just keep working together to make our social interactions as positive as we can, k?
