As boardmebers of @CalRestaurants, you have to assume @MendocinoFarms, @pinkshotdogs, @wurstkuche, @HinokiBird, and @UrbanPlates were all actively engaged with @socalgas in planning the lawsuit to block climate action. (H/T @LASmogGuy)

Many of these restaurants present a sustainable brand, so it’s a real bummer these restaurants are promoting fossil fuels and coordinating with the fossil fuel industry.

Obviously, climate change poses incalculable risks to agriculture and food systems so it’s a short-sighted endeavor that’s only going to lose and do damage to their brands in the meantime.
