We @bristolbiosci are considering switching from SPSS to #rstats for our undergraduate statistics teaching (at year 2). Which other UK biology departments teach R for statistics? As student or teacher, what has your experience been?
Thanks everyone, this is extremely helpful - I need evidence to convince the sceptics! We have started teaching them programming in R, but they still do traditional bio stats in SPSS.
