you know what tells me everything I need to know about Jason Ralph?

when I met him, s4 was done filming, he knew he was leaving, tm was DONE for him

but when I told him tm was my favorite tv show (was at that time) - HE LIT UP. he was SO enthralled & invested in our love of tm.

he wanted to know where my bf got his tm shirt, he asked if there was a lot of magicians merch that we saw out there. he kept inviting us back to talk to him bc he saw how much we loved the show.

idc what anyone else says, that reaction was genuine and heartwarming to me.

hell he was SO excited to talk to us, we all forgot we were taking a pic until the cameraman had to be like uhhhhhh guys????

there is a lot of fucking toxicity around tm and I’m sure he was witness to a lot of it but let’s just fckn leave him and the rest of the cast alone.

the truth is none of us were there and none of us will ever fucking know no matter how ~in or not you may be with the cast even sitting up on ur condescending know it all high horses. they know you are fans. get the fuck over yourselves. you are not getting ~inside info from them

all I know is I will never question Jason’s kindness and genuineness shown to us that day because -knowing nothing else about us - we had a love of tm and quentin coldwater.

I don’t care about the inner story of how it came to be he left tm. or what his true thoughts were etc.

ppl trying to glean that info, imo, are rude as hell. Or think they are wayyyyyy more self-important than they actually are - to think they have a RIGHT to that info from Jason.

Leave him and the rest of the cast alone. If there’s one truth of all of this, they love their fans.

so can we all just. move on already? all of this shit is in the past. I’m sure Jason & the rest of the cast don’t like that we’re still here hung up on how they felt in all this

I will be mad at the showrunners for their complete lack of tact or apologies til the day I die tho
